Because all of our free standing works are created in Texas, all their bases are made of Texas Mesquite. Each base is as unique as the trees that grow here and the diverse folks from around the country and around the world who make their home here.

The inlays are made of Turquoise, Lapis, Malachite, corral and wood. Spiritual meanings are associated with each of these inlays.

Turquoise promotes healing from heaven to earth and opens doors for promoting quality friendships. It is said those who wear turquoise always have friends.

Lapis stimulates the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding. Lapis is said to encourage honesty of spirit in both the written and spoken word.

Malachite assists its wearer to be comfortable in changing situations. Pilots often carry malachite to increase their awareness of and prevent vertigo.

Red corral has always been sought after because it supports blood force energy that stimulates healing energy and lifts depression.

Mahogany was declared an endangered wood in 2003. Santos de Solis uses only plantation grown Honduran mahogany for its sustainability of supply. Mahogany has been a favorite of wood workers for centuries because of its beauty and stability.

Santos de Solis selects metallic overlays with equal care.

Composite Gold leaf is our gold overlay. Gold in Christian symbolism is associated with virtue and in many belief systems consider it a symbol of Divine Love.

Copper acts as a conductor of positive energy and is believed to enhance the healing power of any stone when both touch the body.
